From November 1, 2023, Ms. Kyoko Nagano (admitted in Japan in April 2000) joins our firm as a partner. She brings extensive expertise in financial regulation, foreign fund matters, and real estate transactions.

Mr. Yamanaka's articles titled “ Concept of 'Specified Trade Order' under abolished Commodity Exchange Law cannot be criteria for legality in civil lawsuits” have been published on Kinyu Homu Jijyo, No. 2010 (issued on May 25, 2023).
We have decided to move our offices from Kasumigaseki Building to Akasaka Park Building, and to change our firm name from Koma & Ono Glocal Law Office into Koma Glocal Law Office（which is our firm's original name as our firm was established in 2016.）.

Summary of Koma Glocal Law Office (* We have established "Glocal Law Group" in August 2018.)
Lawyer Fumio Koma (passed away on May, 2017) established this office on April, 2016 after building up his career as a partner in Komatsu Koma & Nishikawa Law Office, in Asahi & Koma Law Office and in Tokyo Aoyama Aoki & Koma Law Offices [presently: Baker & McKenzie (Gaikokuho Joint Enterprise)]. After the establishment, Senior Counsel Saburou Takase, former Division- head Judge of the Tokyo High Court (and former Senior Judicial Research Official of the Supreme Court) and Senior Counsel Yogo Kimura, former partner of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto Law Office until March, 2008 and former general counsel from April 2008 to June 2017 for SPARX Group Co.,Ltd. and SPARX Asset Management Co.,Ltd., have joined this office. In January 2018 welcomes lawyers Masato Yamanaka and Reiichi Miyazaki, and will be enhancing the work quality and the work load.
Mr. Masato Yamanaka has experience as a partner of Baker & McKenzie, and Mr. Reiichi Miyazaki served as Director-General of the Cabinet Legislation Bureau.
With the experiences of the above-mentioned lawyers, it is with pride that this office will be able to provide high quality service – one of the main intentions of this office. The office is compact, but the aim is to provide the best service with a little bit of spice.
From May 1, 2023 our firm has moved to a new location at Akasaka Park Building, 5-2-20, Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. To accommodate the growing business demands, we have decided to move our offices from Kasumigaseki Building to the New Address. The Akasaka Park Building was once the place where many foreign financial institutions had offices, and we believe it is a suitable environment for our firm, which focuses on financial fields. At the same time, while Mr. Ono left this firm, we have changed our firm name from Koma & Ono Glocal Law Office into Koma Glocal Law Office（which is our firm's original name as our firm was established in 2016.）.
